It was with these words from the famous Blue Fairy that Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio’s kind and wise cricket, became the little wooden puppet’s conscience.

Always wearing his top hat and armed with good intentions, he embodies the voice of reason and morality.

This iconic character took shape in 1940 from the pencil of the legendary Ward Kimball, one of Disney’s famous “Nine Old Men.”
